Old Video and a New Trip!

So my airfares are paid for and I fly out soon, Big year planned for 2009 and fingers crossed it all comes off.

I will be back in BC in a few weeks and on tour with the Fluid Team which is super exciting and will be good to get on the road and better yet some rivers with fellow Kayak4play team member Adrian. 

I found this video I made from my last BC trip on my computer, its footage from 2007 shot after last worlds.

Thought I would share it.

Stay tuned, 2009 will be the biggest, scariest and most eventful on trip to date.

Back in the 'wack

After a week back on the frigid waters of the Chilliwack River in Canada’s British Columbia I feel able to comment with some authority on my new IR layers.

In a welcome improvement the Splash Pants are now cut comfortably and feature a subtle colour pattern to replace the matte grey of old, and I’ve found use for the new-addition semi-dry pocket on multiple occasions.

The enter-through-the-neck Union Suit is enough to keep me warm in water all too recently snow, even with ambient temperatures hovering between 5 and 10°C.

The non-stretchy neck is fixed, and the X-jacket is now just as awesome as the IR shorty.

Stoked on the new gears and looking forward to hitting some creeks soon with Adrian and Sam flying in in the next few days.
